It did. The Internet has always had awful views on it, because it was used by humanity, who also had awful views on things.

You could do a lot worse than starting with Popular Electronics.

Unless you have a lot of antiquated components on hand, probably a good idea to work in reverse, chronologically.

Apps won't work anymore.

On some of my devices, I have stopped updating the OS.

That works for a while until you have to do a restore from backup and the apps that used to be on the phone will not reinstall because they dropped support.

Also make sure to have optimize storage off, so apps don’t just disappear randomly.

Tesla mandates arbitration in their purchase agreements. Last I checked when buying a vehicle, you could opt out upon written snail mail request (I opted out, certified return receipt with a copy to my state’s Attorney General), unsure if that still applies or applies to this product.
