Apply @ link 404

Looks like they have an accidental “d” at the end of the link.

Remove that and you get https://jobs.gem.com/snout

I imagine it was a mitigation measure against botspam slopping it up in Snout's candidate pool.

Or maybe a typo, still, I'd have left the link unstated.

...Internet courtesy is weird these days :/

> a mitigation measure against botspam slopping it up

I find it hard to imagine that would be the case. They already link to the same page from their website without any typos, and they link to their website from the comment here.

Thoughts on Jumper? https://getjumper.io

I'm co-founder & ceo btw

Looks like a very nice product

I'm working to redefine funeral home operations with https://www.everpath.to/

We're competing in October for the NFDA Innovation Award with it and looking for funeral home design partner(s).

I don't think it's attributable to summer break. Didn't ~1,100K teachers quit in Fort Worth, TX due (in part) to a rise in political interference?

> ..rise in political interference?

I haven't heard it phrased like that before hah. The truth is when a school district is bad enough the state comes in and takes it over to try and get things back on their feet. Fort Worth is just embarrassed because FWISD is so bad the state had to take it over.

My wife is a HS teacher in Richardson and one of her friends was hired as a new principal at one of the FWISD schools. She said the situation is pretty bleak and most teachers should be fired but they likely won't be able to get rid of all the bad ones. That's pretty typical unfortunately in public education.

https://www.fwisd.org/about/tea

/the same thing happened to a school district in Houston

no they didnt

no it doesnt

you're still wrong

> Superintendent Peter Licata acknowledged that the takeover and instructional changes played a role in some educators’ decisions to leave the district.

> ...But he said he believes employees watched the transformation of Houston ISD under state control and grew wary as Fort Worth introduced standardized lessons and reorganized schools and departments.

sure thats 'political interference' .

Please give us your definition of the TEA takeover then.

Is it 'political interference' when you get fired from a job for objectively poor performance?

When things are systematically underfunded for decades, ya

Hard agree. I'm on vacation in Mexico atm and when I get back I get to repair my OS because I gave codex full control over my system before I left. Was rushing trying to reorganize my project files to get up to the GitHub before I left. Instead it deleted my OS user profile and bonked my system.
