In 2016 there was an update by the outgoing administration to raise the floor to $913 a week, but it got rescinded and instead set to the current $684 a week rate.
Gadget wise I've been really delighted with the new Playdate console in a way I haven't been by technology in a long time. It's simple but so much of it is designed with care, and the third party game ecosystem is really taking off. I'm a few weeks into the game release schedule, and they are fun, but I'm spending an inordinate amount of time on some of the third party games.
In November 2011, the toast sandwich was recreated by the Royal Society of Chemistry in a tasting almost 150 years (...) Due to an overabundance of submissions, the offer was closed 7 days later and the £200 given to a randomly selected entrant.

States can choose to stay on Standard, or go back and forth, but currently they can't choose to stay on DST. I think WA, OR, and CA have all passed legislation that would move them over once the feds allow it.
