i am intrigued...

This!

Expandable storage is priceless to me and the main reason I opt for this product.

The litmus test for where a country stands on international issues boils down to a conversation you had with some lads over pints?

What? You want some news links over Ireland's position at the EU about their magnesium and Russian gas imports?

What it means is that not only is that the government position, but it's got wide support from Irish people. The position being: no support for Ukraine (only loans), Irish jobs and cheap gas are more important.

Ireland took in an incredibly large number of Ukraine refugees per capita.

The alumina thing is pretty bad, and reflective of Irish peoples relatively confused understanding of geopolitics.

Now do the Greeks ;) one of the big problems with the EU is that it's a collection of national governments who have their own interests. Given that, they've done incredibly well on the Russian stuff.

And btw, Ireland does not have either Russian nor cheap gas.

i like the cut of your jib

Time is a flat circle it seems

i have been underwhelmed with lumo so far. it feels a few iterations behind the current models. here's hoping its finally starting to catch up.

The time off from exercise is not a bad thing; even when forced due to holidays and being sick, life et al. As we age, we need more of that rest time. For those of us on the back 9, its critical to avoid those injuries because they set us back.

Rest time of a couple of days is good. I'm not talking about that.

But more than a week and you'll typically need to deload to avoid DOMS. More than a few weeks and it will start taking significant time to work back up, and a lot of injuries happens because people try to rush that recovery and add even more time to that.

If you regularly lose weeks at higher age, it quickly becomes tricky to avoid tipping over into lasting decline.

Depends on the goal. If staying at a certain number is the goal yes, climbing two weeks back up will possibly take more and more time. If staying energetic and healthy is the goal the number becomes only one of the moving benchmarks.

With that said I think doing some kind of workout even on vacation is important.

The only problem with time off is it breaks habits. a couple days off and suddenly you haven't done anything for months.

I tend to agree with most of your points. LLMs/GPTs are quite awesome at what they can do but they still need a guided hand. This will likely be ironed out some iteration down the road.

Blue collar work, I would argue, will be more impacted proportionally greater. Once robots (humanoid and otherwise) replace factory, manufacturing, and farming work at scale (something we are just embarking on), where do the workers go? Some will likely be needed as subject matter experts in their fields to tend to the machine workers (maybe), but the rest will need to enter the service economy, retrain, or hope there is a welfare scheme in place to support them.

More than half my battle using things like codex comes from removing unnecessary code checks and verbose logic. Even when prompted, it just can't help itself. It's a willful beast.

Click the thumbs down report on the output (to better train the model in future to produce better code / provide signal to the people doing training that a common behavior is problematic) and then stick some guidance in your AGENTS.md. It can be fairly whack-a-mole at times on this sort of thing, but sharpening your personal saw with AGENTS.md is an effective approach to generally doing better.
