That's the same thing as saying you don't necessarily mind doing business with human rights abusers, as long as you don't feel too strongly about the people being abused.
I don't think that's true. It's saying that you're going to make as many changes as you reasonably can in your life. Perfect is the enemy of good. (And only a sith deals in absolutes!)
