That'd be a lot more data to push, and not be able to record specific data or alert on anything. I don't write enterprise medical software for a living, I just think hundreds (? thousands?) of video streams isn't necessarily more reliable or elegant in its simplicity than rushed out new software. There's always a (many) trade-off.
