Gitea/Forgejo seem pretty snappy and lightweight (on the UI side at least. Reminds me of old GitHub before they went all in on clientside rendering)

It is, it's running fine as a mirror of my Codeberg and Github repos together with Postgres in a RISC-V Qemu VM running Debian, using less than 500MB.
