I don't know if answering snark with more snark is the answer. He/she did have a valid point after all, even if it was delivered obnoxiously.

Yep you are right for the snark. Still, "valid point" is very subjective. I'll think about it, yet I do not have any improvement in mind to preserve space, breathing and readability.

Pretty sure (guessing) this guy's blog UI isn't the same site/UI as his failed startup.

I didn't say it did. I was agreeing with the point that this particular site wastes a ton of vertical space with its headers.
